Setup Speed Dial

Setting up Speed Dial by logging into your phone's IP address:

STEP 1 : Get the IP Address of your Phone. You can do this by pressing Menu -> Status or press OK button.

STEP 2 : Now, go to your office computer and type this IP address. On the next screen, login with the default credential, which can be :

  • Username : user or admin

  • Password : user or admin

STEP 3 : To programme the keys for the speed Dial, go to the tab "Dsskey". This tab consists of all the programmable keys on the device.

For example: If you want to configure key 6 as Sales.

  • Go to Linekey2 and select Speed Dial from the drop down menu.

  • Next, enter the Number that you would like the speed dial to be ( Ex: 18008393817 ).

  • Name the key ( Ex: Sales ).

  • Click on Confirm.

Once confirmed, the speed dial will show up on the designated Key on that line on your phone system.

From now on, when you press this key, it will automatically dial the number that was set as the Speed Dial.

Setting up speed dial in the Grandstream IP Phone:

STEP 1 : Get the IP Address of your Phone. You can do this by pressing Menu -> Status or press OK button.

STEP 2 : Now, go to your office computer and type this IP address. On the next screen, login with the default credential, which can be :

  • Username : user or admin

  • Password : user or admin

STEP 3 : To programme the keys for the speed Dial, go to the tab Settings -> Programmable Keys. This tab consists of all the programmable keys on the device.

For example: If you want to configure key 1 as Sales

  • Go to Line1 and select Speed Dial from the Mode drop down menu.

  • Next, enter the description that you would like the speed dial to be ( Ex: sales ).

  • Enter the value of Extension or Phone number for speed dial.

  • Click on Confirm.

Once confirmed, the speed dial will show up on the designated Key on that line on your phone system.

Similarly, you can configure the soft keys on your phone as speed dial as well.

From now on, when you press this key, it will automatically dial the number that was set as the Speed Dial.
