# Dial-By-Name Directory

### By default, the dial by Name directory announces your name letter by letter. To update the dial-by-name directory to announce the name as a whole instead of letter by letter, please follow these steps:

1. Dial \*98 from any extension in the office or enter your extension number from your phone.
2. Enter your extension number and voicemail password when prompted. 
3. Press 5 to access advanced options. 
4. Press 3 to record your first and last name. 
5. Follow the prompts to record your name as a whole. 
6. Save the recording and exit the voicemail system.
