# Voicemail Transcription

**Activation / Deactivation:**

1. Navigate to **Phone System > Users/Extensions**.
2. Select and **Edit** the desired extension.
3. Set **Enable Voicemail** = **True** and under **Voicemail Attach File in Email**, select **Transcribe**.
4. Click **Update** to save the settings.

**Delivery via Email:**

* Transcribed voicemails are sent to the **email address associated with the extension**.
* Each email will include both the **voicemail audio recording** and the **transcribed text**.

**Viewing via Dashboard:**

* Go to **Activities > Messages**.
* Under the **Transcription** column, the text version of the voicemail will be displayed.
